Life-long learning has been a part of Jewish tradition for thousands of years. Just as Torah and the study of Torah are central to Jewish life, teaching and learning have been an important part of Temple Beth Torah since the congregation was founded 78 years ago.
The classes offered at Temple Beth Torah cover a diverse range of topics. We have weekly Torah Study, weekly evening classes, clergy-led classes, mini-courses, one time study sessions, holiday celebrations, cooking classes, creative workshops, Jewish yoga, sacred parenting, grandparents groups, Shabbat book groups, guest speakers, scholar in residence and more.
Some of our recent adult education topics have included: Women and Judaism; the Holocaust; Introduction to Judaism; Judaism and bio-ethics; Judaism and end-of-life matters; and Jewish ethics and business. We offer classes throughout the day as well as in the evening and at weekends. Our adult education teachers are experts in their field and look forward to sharing their knowledge with you.
We look forward to learning with you!
