Auschwitz Exhibit Reagan Group Reservations May 21

TBT Group Trip to the Reagan Library exhibit
“Auschwitz: Not Long Ago. Not Far Away.”

Temple Beth Torah has arranged a group reservation of this groundbreaking exhibition on Sunday, May 21, at 2:00 p.m. (entrance time).  Highlighting the atrocities of the Holocaust, the exhibit brings together more than 700 original objects and 400 photographs from over 20 institutions and museums around the world. This is the only time this exhibition will be on the West Coast. The exhibition is recommended for ages 12+. This is a timed entrance exhibit; each visitor will be given a self-guiding audio to listen to as they tour the exhibit. The cost of the audio is included in the fee below. Plan to spend 2 hours in the exhibit.

We are encouraging congregants to carpool together. If you are willing to drive or need a ride, please email martha@templebethtorah.com letting her know if you want to be a carpool driver OR need a ride in a carpool.  Carpool requests must be received by May 7.

You may wish to drive to the Reagan Library earlier in the day, to have lunch, please visit https://www.reaganfoundation.org/library-museum/visitor-information/dining/. We encourage you to make those arrangements independently. Discounted tickets are:

         Adult: $27.95
         Senior (62+): $24.95
         College students: $11
         Youth (11-17): $20.95

This exhibition has been designed with profound respect for the victims of the Holocaust, as well as visitors. Care has been taken to ensure that there are no gratuitous depictions of violence. Every effort has been made to consider the emotional impact this story can have on visitors, so they can safely explore this history.
